Sing for Life

East London Chorus raises funds for vital breast cancer research, undertaken by
Cancer Research UK.  Our concerts are in aid of vital breast cancer research undertaken by Cancer Research UK (charity no. 1089464).

In the 2006-7 season, we raised £1000 for Cancer Research UK.  Thank you to everyone who supported us and we look forward to your continued generosity going forward.

Our next Sing for Life walk is on 8th June 2008 - Details

We have a fantastic concert programme for our 2007-8 season, so please support us and come to some of our events.  If you live in East or South East London why not join us?  Simply come along and take part in one of the rehearsals (see new members)

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in the UK with over 42,000 new cases every year.  Breast cancer claims the lives of 12,400 women each year in the UK. Men can also get breast cancer but it is rare (around 300 cases are diagnosed each year). The good news is, thanks to earlier detection and improved treatment, breast cancer death rates in the UK have fallen by a fifth over the last ten years.

Enjoy our innovative concerts whilst supporting an exceptionally worthwhile cause!
