East London Chorus - Open Rehearsal 2009

East London Chorus invites you to join us and sing for pleasure at our Open Rehearsal

    Saturday 25th July 2009
    10.00am  – 12.00 noon
    Greenwich Park Bar and Grill
1 King William Walk, Greenwich, SE10 9JY (opposite the main gates to Greenwich Park)

ELC is rehearsing some of the music for our next couple of concerts and we invite you to join us.  We are a lively, friendly group of amateur singers from all walks of life and a range of singing experiences, who all share one thing in common - a passion for singing.

Enjoy choral training and an entertaining and informative morning under the expert direction of our music director, Alexander Chaplin.

We will be singing the magical Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah, The heavens are telling from Haydn’s Creation, Goodall’s The Lord is my Shepherd, made famous by The Vicar of Dibley and Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs.  Music will be provided.

Whatever your reason, don’t hide your light under a bushel; come and have a go at our Open Rehearsal and experience the sheer pleasure of singing great choral works in vocal harmony.
